I am trying to be more sensitive to people’s emotional states but there are some people who get insulted when you say something or ask them question, whereas if you say the same thing to other people they would just laugh or answer the question. Because of their reaction you learn not to say anything that could be offensive to these sensitive souls, but as the number of topics you can’t talk about expands, and you have to think your thoughts three times over before you speak, you eventually become silent.
