Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Try this experiment: take a picture of yourself and print it and then print it in a reverse image where right and left side are interchanged. Pick which one you like best and ask a friend to pick the one they find most appealing. You might notice something odd: your friend will like the original photo better whereas you probably like the reverse image better. What is going on? Most of the time the only way you see yourself is through the mirror and the mirror transposes your image left to right. Your friend, on the other hand, sees you normally direct. This experiment that shows that we tend to like things that are familiar to us, was actually tested and proved in milwaukee. Do you think I have such an intense love for my kitties as a result of having placed their photographs all over the place, both at home and work, and I am therefore exposed to their lovely mien all the time?
