What is it like to have cataracts? Here is a lovely bunch of flowers:

Now that my mom has the cataract removed from her right eye she can see all three colours: yellow, pink, and violet. With the other eye (the one that still has a cataract) she can only see two colours: pink and yellow.

The purpose of cataract surgery is to remove the clouded lens and replace it with an artificial lens, and thus restoring clear vision and colour vibrancy. Wonderful!

Let’s celebrate - I have passed the 1,000 mark with 1,053 distinct hosts served on my site!

I ran into a problem at work today so I went to Google and typed a few terms in the search bar and hit the Google Search button and within a split second, behold there was my site, third item on the Google search results. My eyes popped out of my head and my head started to whirl. I certainly never expected my site to be on the first page of a google search but I had more serious questions to answer: Did my site offer me an answer to my question? No, it did not answer my question. I have to ask myself is that good or bad? Well, it is bad because I would hope to answer anyone’s question if they took the trouble to visit my site. But it is also good, because if I was asking questions that I had already answered just a short month ago… well, that would mean my memory is going.

Perhaps googling will be a new form of meditation …a way to get insight of being… of being nobody, and going nowhere and being everyone and going everywhere… and my mantra is … elgoog

My mom had cataract surgery on her right eye and now it glows when the light catches it — just like a kitty’s eye. It could be that she is part cat (like I am) but if anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
