Whimsical Paintings

Filed under: Culture — Diana Condolo @ 6:37 am

I saw this guy, Karl Iagnemma on Nova last night - he is both a writer who has published novels (On the Nature of Human Romantic Interaction is going to be made into a movie) and a mechanical engineer developing technology for the 2009 Mars rover mission. They talked about his amazing ability to use both the left and right side of brain with such versatility. He said that mechanical engineering and writing are similar: both involve logic, problem-solving, and creativity. I was impressed with his talents and it reminded me that I should continue to practice using different parts of my brain and do the things I enjoy. Here are some whimsical paintings - just because it is fun ;-)

    G’day from Australia,
Iam writing from Australia and have to say how much I like your website. I love cats too and I have a cat…fluffy persian ‘Ralph’ who drinks the same way as yours does but only out of my swimming pool.
I really like your paintings they are similar to a famous Australian named KEN DONE they have heaps of websites. The photo of you is absolutely gorgeous I love your hair curly. I run marathons and cross country and I am 32 you look so fit I wondered how old you were? I do not mean to be rude by asking but you really are a breath of fresh air on the internet to see such a positive role model.
    Kindest regards, Zoe Saunders
