Photographs From Childhood

Here I am walking down my driveway pulling my wooden ducky along. I loved that duck and I kept it for a long time. Look how shiny it was:

    :D,
Some nice pics here. That is a GREAT snowman! Hope you returned the shoulder pads from your grad dress back to the “Dynasty” wardrobe department from whence they came…lol. Now where’s my skinny leather tie….

  2. Diana Condolo Says:

Yeah, where is your skinny leather tie???

I lent it to one of the members of El Debarge and I don’t think he returned it.

  4. Diana Condolo Says:

Too bad as I have many creative uses for old ties:D

I remember playing ball against that old worn away wall….hello hello hello sir….are you coming out sir?…no sir…why sir?…because I have a bad cold sir…etc.

I remember that duck…didn’t it move its head and quack? Beautiful toy. Do you think it had lead in it?

That is one perfect little girl.

Love all those pictures of your past….funny in a picture you looked like Sara…the one up a tree.

Gosh and golly did I love that little girl….she was the best Christmas present I ever had.

You can buy old ties at the thrift store. Talking about ties….funny how we would buy ties for our dad AND HE NEVER EVER WORE THEM nor did he have the opportunity to wear them. Why didn’t anyone ever take us aside and explain that to us back then? I am sure we could have bought him something he would have the opportunity to use under the guidance of a wiser person.

Okay, everyone is talking about that game with the pantyhose and the ball played against the wall. Where you swing the pantyhose across your body and under your leg while singing that song. We would like to know what it is called so if you know it, please comment here.

I don’t remember ever buying dad a tie…I knew he liked Aqua Velva aftershave lotion and that is what I bought him most of the time…I know, I know, I was a wise little girl who was asked by neighbours to come to tea.

  7. Miriam Says:

Oh yes!!!! Now I remember Aqua Velva!!!! I am sure dad used that. Inexpensive but great stuff.

You were such a sweet little angle….you still are.

  8. Miriam Says:

OOOps…that was supposed to be angel NOT ANGLE…typo.

Regarding the pantyhose and ball game. A friend said that she seems to think it might have been called something like Bungy or Bungee Ball. When she mentioned this, I did get some hint of recognition in my feeble brain. Does this ring a bell for anybody else?
